Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes

These rich, chocolatey pancakes with strawberry pieces are the perfect last minute Valentine's Day breakfast! This one-bowl recipe will leave you craving them constantly!


1 1/2 cups of flour

1 1/2 tablespoons of baking powder

3 tablespoons of sugar

1/4 cup of cocoa powder

Pinch of salt

1 1/2 cups of oat milk (or other non-dairy milk)

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

3 tablespoons neutral oil (I used canola)

1/4 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup of strawberries, diced

To start, mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add in the wet ingredients (excluding the chocolate chips and strawberries) and mix thoroughly, but don't over-mix (over-mixing will knock out the air bubbles that make pancakes so fluffy!)

Fold in the chocolate chips and strawberries. Pour a quarter cup of batter on a greased pan and cook on medium heat until the top side is bubbling. Flip and cook all the way through (both sides should have be golden brown).

Serve with powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, and chocolate sauce. Enjoy!
